I am an approved supervisor for the state of FL and available to supervise registered clinical social work interns working towards licensure.
My goal as a therapist is to utilize evidence-based techniques to help my clients achieve their wellness goals. I am devoted to helping couples restore intimacy, passion, and commitment & to helping individuals suffering achieve some level of homeostasis. One of my strengths is the ability to break down complex issues into smaller segments so that clients can get unstuck and move toward healing/recovery. I am skilled at helping people dealing with a variety of difficulties such as life transitions, loss, break-ups, unstable relationships, depression, anxiety, trauma and addiction.
Therapy is all about relationship & self discovery. It is imperative that you can trust your therapist; it is equally important that you choose a therapist who is competent in the area of your concern(s). I practice within the scope of my competency only. It is important to me to create a sacred space where healing can occur. At Morame Counseling Services, I offer a safe and supportive environment where you can be yourself.
During my spare time, I enjoy running, playing basketball, cooking, dancing, reading, laying at the beach and spending time with my family and friends. I am married and have 3 children including a pair of twins. I am a Christian and willing to pray with my clients upon request. I value family and understand the intricacy of a family system. My desire to help others is what propelled me to become a therapist.
